ROSEMEAD, Calif., April 23, 2015 —Edison International (NYSE: EIX) and Southern California Edison today announced that William P. Sullivan has been elected to the board of directors of each company, effective today.

“Bill Sullivan brings significant and valuable experience in the technology sector to our boards,” said Ted Craver, chairman and chief executive officer of Edison International. “Bill has provided outstanding leadership at Agilent, and we look forward to his strategic vision and counsel as our company faces a changing electric industry.”

Sullivan, 65, served as chief executive officer of Agilent Technologies, a global provider of scientific instruments, software, services and consumables in life sciences, diagnostics and applied chemical markets, from 2005 to March 2015.

Previously, Sullivan was senior vice president and general manager of Agilent’s Semiconductor Products group from 1999 to 2002.
