ROSEMEAD, Calif., June 6, 2019 — The entire Edison International and Southern California Edison community is profoundly saddened to learn of the passing today of SCE President Ron Nichols.
Ron was a passionate leader of the organization, a valued member of the senior management team and a trusted friend, confidant and counselor. He was a role model for all of us when we say “how” we do our jobs is as important as “what” we do; he brought his best self every day.
Ron was a tireless champion for the development of clean energy, particularly for programs that benefitted customers in environmentally impacted communities.
Our most heartfelt sympathy goes out to Ron’s wife, Cheryl, and their family. He will be deeply missed.
