ROSEMEAD, Calif., June 21, 2010 – Southern California Edison (SCE) will connect customers who are interested in installing solar systems on their homes with contractors who can do the work. The free solar fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26 at the Doubletree Hotel, 924 West Huntington Drive, Monrovia, Calif. 91016.

At the solar fair, SCE customers will be able to:

  • Speak with licensed solar contractors about their home’s potential for an effective solar system, and get cost estimates.
  • Meet with multiple solar contractors at one location and schedule an on-site survey to determine their home’s potential for solar.
  • Learn about California Solar Initiative program incentives, tax credits and financing options that can help lower out-of-pocket costs.

Although the event is free, registration is required because space is limited. To register or for more information, SCE customers should send an e-mail that includes their name and phone number to homesolar@sce.com. They may also call (866) 970-9221.
