COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif., July 1, 2004 – A team of Southern California Edison (SCE) representatives are visiting small businesses in the Coachella Valley from July 7- 9 to promote SCE’s Energy$mart ThermostatSM, which provides programmable cooling while controlling energy costs.

Businesses that sign up for an Energy$mart Thermostat will receive:

  • $150 participation bonus per thermostat
  • Up to five thermostats installed and programmed for free
  • Up to 20%-30% savings on the heating and cooling portion
     of their electric bill
