ROSEMEAD, Calif., April 22, 2005—The Southern California Edison (SCE) Board of Directors has promoted Lynda Ziegler from director to vice president of customer programs and services in the company’s customer service business unit, effective May 1.

In her position, Ziegler manages SCE’s relations with the utility’s 4.6 million customers, a diverse group ranging from mountain residents, beach communities, and desert inhabitants to major corporations and residential customers.

“Lynda has led the important development for improving the total customer experience throughout SCE, introducing such key initiatives as our Internet redesign for www.sce.com and our business solutions programs for small business,” said Al Fohrer, chief executive officer for SCE.

Ziegler has held a variety of jobs in her 24-year career with SCE, including management positions in energy efficiency, service planning, and customer service.  In her current position, Ziegler’s responsibilities include, among other things, strategic business planning, energy efficiency and demand-response programs, electric transportation, consumer affairs, market research, and marketing communications.

Ziegler earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from California State University, Long Beach, and an MBA from Cal State, Fullerton.

Ziegler resides in Foothill Ranch with her husband.
