ROSEMEAD, Calif., May 19, 2005—Edison International today announced that the boards of directors of Edison International (EIX) and Southern California Edison (SCE), the utility subsidiary of EIX, have elected the current assistant controller of both companies, Linda G. Sullivan, 41, as vice president and controller, effective June 1, 2005. Sullivan will succeed Thomas M. Noonan, 53, who separately was elected senior vice president and chief financial officer of SCE.
John Bryson, chairman, Edison International said, “Linda has demonstrated leadership across the organization and her considerable skills in accounting and financial management will continue to benefit both companies in her new position.”
Sullivan has been with the company for 14 years. She has extensive experience working for both a regulated utility and an unregulated energy company. Linda has held progressive management positions at the company including responsibilities in accounting, finance, business planning and budgeting, external financial reporting, and regulatory and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Sullivan received a B.S. in business administration and accounting from Portland State University. She is a certified public accountant and certified management accountant. Sullivan resides in Santa Clarita, CA, with her husband and two children.
