ROSEMEAD, Calif., December 13, 2002 —James Scilacci has been promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer of Southern California Edison (SCE), effective January 1, 2003, by the company’s board of directors.  The announcement was made today by Alan J. Fohrer, chairman and chief executive officer of SCE, to whom he will continue to report.  Scilacci joined SCE in 1984 and was elected to his former position of vice president and chief financial officer in January 2000.
